Description

Paragliding is a free flying sport using fabric wings (parachutes) that are taken off with the feet for recreation or competition purposes. The parent organization is Plgi (Indonesian Hang Gliding Association), while Pgi itself is under the auspices of Fsi (Indonesian Aero Sport Federation). The sport of paragliding takes off from a hillside or mountain using the wind. By utilizing these two sources, pilots can fly very high and reach long distances.
